L’antivibrante in elastomero tipo CONIC rappresenta una valida alternativa ai classici antivibranti cilindrici rispetto ai quali risulta maggiormente flessibile grazie alla presenza della cavità interna.
La realizzazione in gomma con parete sottile consente infatti di ottenere frequenze di sospensione più basse rispetto ad antivibranti di pari ingombro ma con sezione massiccia (come i puffer). Frequenze di sospensione più basse consentono riduzioni più marcate delle vibrazioni generate dalla sorgente da isolare.
